Connect your AI to brainattic
brainattic speaks the Model Context Protocol (MCP), so Claude, ChatGPT, Mistral, or any MCP client connects with a single URL. Everyone on your team connects with their own login, and each person’s access is scoped to their own workspace.
Want the full, client-by-client walkthrough? Our Connect guide in the docs covers Claude, Mistral Vibe, ChatGPT, and any other MCP client — who adds the connector and exactly where to click. New here? Start with the docs overview.
What you’ll need
The MCP connector URL:
https://app.brainattic.ai/api/mcp
…and a brainattic workspace. Don’t have one yet? Request a pilot.
Claude
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector. Give it a name (for example, brainattic), paste the URL above, and connect. Claude walks you through a one-time sign-in to authorize access — that’s it. Your agent can now search and edit your knowledge base under the rules you set.
Mistral Vibe
In Mistral Vibe (formerly Le Chat), a workspace administrator opens the Connectors page from the sidebar, clicks + Add Connector → Custom MCP Connector, names it brainattic, and pastes the URL above. Vibe detects the OAuth sign-in automatically. In a chat, click + (or type /), choose Tools, and enable brainattic.
ChatGPT
In ChatGPT, open Settings → Connectors, add a custom connector with the URL above, and complete the one-time sign-in. (Custom MCP connectors require a ChatGPT plan that supports them.)
Any other MCP client
Point your client at the endpoint https://app.brainattic.ai/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP). Authentication is standard OAuth 2.1 and is discovered automatically. Our public discovery card lives at /.well-known/mcp/server.json.
What happens when you connect
You sign in once and approve access. Your agent then picks up brainattic’s full toolset — hybrid search, transactional edits it can roll back, and the human-curated rules surfaced before any write. Your data stays in brainattic; it never goes to a third-party AI model.
